Making a mess in a good cause

Her sessions allow children to explore new sensations without parents worrying about making a mess. They play with play-dough, all kinds of food, balloons and paint – all non-toxic.

“You couldn’t do this at home,” said Lynsey, “you can’t just let them play with paint! This is a way for them to explore different kinds of foods and experience different textures.”

The group at Hengrove community centre is the only one in the area, but Lynsey is keen to open more. If you would like to see a Splat session in South Bristol, email lynsey@splatmessyplay.co.uk
