The summer's not quite over, so let's remember the birthday celebrations at Upfest and the Balloon Fiesta
Bad weather failed to prevent the crowds turning out for the 10th Upfest street art festival and the 40th International Balloon Fiesta

IT WAS a shame that high winds prevented people in South Bristol from seeing as many balloons flying over their homes as usual.
But there was some fine weather over the weekend of August 9-12 and Voice reader Roger Turner was kind enough to send us his pictures.
At Upfest, too, bad weather affected part of the weekend at the end of July, but crowds, including many internatioanl visitors, thronged the streets of Bedminster and Southville.
To mark Upfest's 10th anniversary, the world's biggest animated TV stars, The Simpsons, were the featured characters, and popped up everywhere.
